Injury:__ _ _Ruptured Cranial Cruciate Ligament
Cody is 13 years old and Ruptured his CCL (Cranial Cruciate Ligament). He was lame on his hind limb. Due to a heart condition, that his parents discovered pre-surgery, they were unable to proceed with a surgical intervention. The custom stifle brace was recommended as a treatment option to treat Cody's injured CCL. Cody was fitted for a custom stifle orthosis to stabilize and support his affected knee joint. With in a few weeks Cody was able to return to daily walks. Cody has been able to remain active now for six months and he is no longer restricted by his injured knee. Cody's parents told OrthoPets that Cody's brace is "awesome and works great". With the help of this support, Cody is now experiencing a better quality of life.
