Our Team

OrthoPets is what you would consider to be a “well-oiled machine.” Our team is made up of a small group of people with a large variety of background experience.

Our modification team is comprised of a group of individuals with special interest and experience ranging from 3-D modeling, CAD and the human world of braces and prosthetics. Our assembly team is comprised of individuals from the veterinary field, experienced contractors and even experts in exotic species.

The Case Managers assisting you and your veterinarian through the process is comprised of Certified Veterinary Technicians with at least 8 years of clinical experience ranging from general practice, emergency and critical care, rehabilitation and internal medicine.

Our entire team is trained in Veterinary Orthotics & Prosthetics (V-OP) by our owner and founder, Martin Kaufmann as well as our Surgical & Sports Medicine Consultant, Dr. Felix Duerr.

We have pulled together the strengths of all of our employees with intensive training in order to provide our referring veterinarians and clients the best possible V-OP experience.

We feel that when you are searching for the right V-OP provider for your pet, it is important that you feel comfortable and connected with us. We understand this is not just a dog brace or prosthetic for you and your family. This is a second chance for your pet, maybe even a third or fourth. With that, we want you to know more about us!
