When seeking Veterinary Orthotic & Prosthetic (V-OP) services, it’s essential to choose a provider with expertise in veterinary medicine and a deep understanding of animal biomechanics. This ensures that the custom solution is specifically designed for your pet—not an adaptation of a human model that may fail to meet their unique needs.
A trusted V-OP provider should prioritize biomechanical accuracy in every design, ensuring optimal comfort, function, and long-term health for your pet. Your pet’s well-being depends on a solution tailored to their anatomy and mobility requirements.
Additionally, a reliable V-OP provider doesn’t stop at fabricating a device. They should offer end-to-end support—including design, manufacturing, dispensing, and ongoing guidance throughout your pet’s mobility journey. This collaborative partnership ensures that your pet receives the care and attention needed to maintain their mobility and quality of life over time.
Our goal is to provide the highest-quality orthopedic devices for your pet. OrthoPets has assembled a group of experts in veterinary orthopedic surgery, veterinary sports medicine, rehabilitation, mechanical engineering, and human orthotics and prosthetics. Through our advanced manufacturing facility, we deliver accurate, custom-made devices that prioritize your pet’s function and mobility.
Each OrthoPets device is handcrafted to meet the specific needs of your pet, ensuring a tailored solution that maximizes their mobility and comfort. While we aim to complete most devices within 9 business days, we recommend planning for a manufacturing timeline of up to 3-4 weeks as a precaution. This allows us to maintain the highest standards of quality while accommodating any unforeseen delays.
To make the process smoother, we also recommend scheduling your fitting appointment 3-4 weeks after sending us your impression. This way, you can avoid the need to reschedule should there be any unexpected changes in production.
When researching V-OP providers, or if your veterinarian is prescribing a brace or artificial limb, ensure you’re working with the best—OrthoPets.
