The Doctor and Her OrthoPets Stifle Device (Dog Knee Brace)

The Doctor is a 12 year old female spayed pit bull who works with our wonderful San Francisco area partner clinic, A Well Adjusted Pet. She suffered an acute-on-chronic injury to her left cranial cruciate ligament around April of 2021, and her owners chose a custom stifle orthosis along with conservative management, rather than putting her through surgery at her age. Their goals were to stabilize her left stifle to allow rehabilitation and eventual normal play in the yard and at the beach. Because of her classic pittie build with muscular thighs, she needed a soft neoprene suspension cuff to help keep her orthosis in good alignment on her leg.

As you can see, she has been able to return to full beach activity with her OrthoPets Stifle Device!
